Stretching Exercises in the Morning to Beat Fatigue

The week has just started and you are already feeling tired and low on energy? Plus there is the stress of the long commute and looming deadlines during the day. The rush of everyday life can wear you down, more so if you have a desk job where you pretty much stay in your cubicle for nione throughout the day. So here are a few things that you could do to beat daily fatigue, and stay fresh and energetic.
Exercise
You might be feeling exhausted post work, but take some time out to exercise on a regular basis. Or work out in the morning if you have time before heading to office. Exercising every day will increase muscle mass, blood circulation and flexibility, boosting energy. Even brisk walking for 15-minutes daily will release endorphins, the feel-good hormones in your brain.
Drink WaterWhen the body does not get the required amount of water, you feel dehydrated. Dehydration saps out energy and causes fatigue, affecting your daily routine. In 2010, Tufts University, US, published a study in their Health & Nutrition Letter, which tested the effect of mild dehydration on 30 male and female young athletes. Those who were not given water to drink during athletics experienced negative mood, fatigue and confusion. The level of dehydration experienced among the participants of the study was comparable to the mild dehydration office-goers suffer from in their daily lives when they don’t drink enough water.
