An Aura of Serene Spirituality

The founders of the Seven Springs Yoga & Holistic Retreats in the Six Mile community, the couple have made it their mission to share their love of the land and a holistic philosophy inspired by a desire to live life with a higher purpose.
Encompassing 11 acres of a 126-acre homestead that has been in Jessi’s family for three generations, the retreat offers opportunities for individuals eager to learn about permaculture (a method of nurturing land by combining modern technology and traditional techniques), becoming one with nature, gaining yoga instructor certification and ultimately escaping the frenzy of everyday life to rejuvenate mind and body.
“There’s nothing like the amazing feeling of being able to disconnect from the outside world and take time out from everyday pressures and responsibilities,” Zach said. “It’s important to take space for ourselves, to refresh and replenish our spiritual selves and then go back into the world and help others.”
Speaking from the porch of the home they share overlooking the verdant valley where Seven Springs is situated, the pair fit the image of a genuinely contented, and contemplative couple, one with a spiritual sensibility that nods towards a kind of ’60s hippie ethic and carefree yet creative happenstance.
